Chimera’s Dioramas

Chimera’s Dioramas is a series of objects exploring chimeric nature of the living world. Made using direct to media printing, digital textile printing and an array of materials like clay, beeswax, plywood, steel, silk and others. Images used are of the zoological and entomological specimens in the collection of Hunterian museum in Glasgow.
Chimera’s Dioramas stem from SYLVAN- text work and SYLVAN - video work (in progress) that are both built using science fiction narratives to explore imagined communication in between forest ecosystems and the interpretation of these more-than-human languages.
